Special Education Needs & Disabilities

Norton Hall offer a range of programmes specially developed for children and young people with additional support needs. 

Our staff are experienced in working with children that have a disability. We have worked with children and young people with Autism, ADHD, physical disabilities, hearing and visual impairments and children with behavioural, social and emotional difficulties. It is our aim to meet all children’s individual needs to give them the best play experience.

Activity Programme

In partnership with other organisations, we provide Short Breaks activities to children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEN&D). We have worked with a number of children with SEN&D providing a range of activities including:

Forest School & Gardening

We inspire and encourage young learners through positive outdoor play and learning experiences. 

  • Mondays 4.00-6.00pm

Martial Arts

  • Mondays 6.30–7.30pm - Beginners – Mixed Ability
  • Fridays 6.15-7.15pm – Intermediate Group
  • Fridays 7.15-8.15pm -  Advanced Group

Creative Arts

  • Thursdays 4.00-6.00pm Children aged 5-9 years
  • Thursdays 6.00-8.00pm Children aged 10-14 years

We also run a Boys Youth Group (ages 10 – 16) and a Girls Youth Group (ages 10-16).
