Norton Hall Children & Family Centre is proud to be a partner in the HEART Midlands Early Years Stronger Practice Hub, supporting Early Years settings and childminders across the West Midlands.

The HEART Midlands partnership brings together Bloomsbury Nursery School, Norton Hall Children & Family Centre, Weoley Castle Nursery SchoolandLMC Childcare Solutions.

Together, the partnership supports practitioners across Birmingham, Herefordshire and Solihull

What is an Early Years Stronger Practice Hub?

Early Years Stronger Practice Hubs support Early Years settings and childminders to improve outcomes for children by helping practitioners access and use evidence-informed practice.

The Department for Education has confirmed continued funding for the Early Years Stronger Practice Hub programme until at least March 2029.

HEART Midlands works with Early Years professionals across the region to strengthen practice, build connections and make high-quality research, resources and professional development easier to access.

Build Networks

Connecting Early Years practitioners and creating opportunities to share knowledge, experience and effective practice.

Share Evidence & Resources

Sharing research, evidence-informed approaches, useful resources, events and information with the Early Years sector.

Advice & Signposting

Helping practitioners identify relevant support, training and funded opportunities available to them.

Evidence-Based Programmes

Working with the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) to help settings access evidence-based programmes and approaches.

Working Across the West Midlands

HEART Midlands works collaboratively with local authorities and Early Years partners across:

Birmingham • Herefordshire • Solihull 

The Hub also works alongside the Birmingham Early Years Networks, helping to strengthen connections and support across the Early Years sector.
