About

Our Sunflower Nursery provides OFSTED rated good Early Years Childcare and Education for children between the ages of 2-5 years. We foster an environment that recognises and nurtures child development, which in turn builds strong foundations for school readiness to enable children to achieve their full potential. Our Community Nursery is a colourful and exciting place for young children with two spacious playrooms and an outdoor play area.

Our team comprises experienced and qualified early years practitioners. All of our team are qualified to Level 3 or above, are DBS checked and have a passion for early years education and childcare that allows them to create a safe, nurturing and fun environment for our children.

We seek to build strong ‘early years’ foundations and narrow the gap in educational attainment. Our child centred approach allows us to use a balance of child centred and adult led learning, using continuous play and small group activities that nurture learning, development, confidence and wellbeing.
