Our Holiday Care & Playscheme provides a welcoming and fun environment for children aged 4–11 years during the school holidays. Every programme is packed with exciting activities, outdoor adventures, sports, creative workshops and opportunities to make new friends.

Whether your child loves getting active, being creative or exploring the outdoors, there’s something for everyone at Norton Hall.

We offer flexible booking options to support local families throughout the school holidays.

Booking Option	Price
Daily Booking	£30.00
Weekly Booking	£140.00
Morning Session (8am – 1:00pm)	£20.00
Afternoon Session (1:00pm – 6pm)	£20.00

Some trips and special activities may require a small additional contribution. Any additional costs will always be communicated in advance.

We also accept College and University childcare payments.

Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme

We’re proud to be a provider of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme, offering eligible children the opportunity to enjoy exciting activities and nutritious meals during the school holidays.

Due to the limited number of funded places available, our HAF places are currently prioritised for children and families who are already accessing our services.

If you’re looking for a HAF place at Norton Hall, we’d still love to hear from you. Please give us a call and we’ll add your child to our waiting list. If a place becomes available, we’ll contact you as soon as possible.

Healthy Meals

Children receive a healthy breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack each day.

We cater for a range of dietary requirements wherever possible, including vegetarian, halal and allergy-aware options. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary needs when booking so we can support your child.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Subject to availability, you can book individual days or multiple days throughout the holidays.

Yes. Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack are included each day.

Children should wear comfortable clothing suitable for indoor and outdoor activities. We also recommend bringing a refillable water bottle and weather-appropriate clothing.

We are committed to providing an inclusive environment and welcome children with a wide range of additional needs.

Before your child starts, we’ll take the time to talk with you about their individual needs and consider whether we can make reasonable adjustments to support them safely within our Holiday Care & Playscheme.

In some circumstances, we may be unable to meet a child’s needs safely within our staffing levels or the environment we provide. If this is the case, we will discuss this with you openly and respectfully, explain our decision and, where possible, signpost you to alternative local services that may be better placed to support your child.

Some holiday programmes include trips and visits from special guests. Full details will be shared before each holiday programme begins.
